If you want to see the entire island of Maui, this 1 hour tour is for you! You will see the best of East and West Maui: Haleakala Crater, tropical forests, waterfalls and the deep lush valleys of the West Maui Mountains.

Complete Maui Island Tour

Your tour will start with a flight above the 10,000' volcano Haleakala where you will be completely amazed by the scene of the classic volcanic landscape of Haleakala Crater. No better way to see this majestic place than from a helicopter. While the southern slopes are arid, the eastern and northern sides are wet tropical rainforests. This is where you'll find the deep, remote valleys carpeted in lush vegetation and hundreds of spectacular waterfalls.

Next you will zoom to the eastern tip of Maui to Hana town. You will see a spectacular coastline with impenetrable rainforests, rugged sea cliffs, isolated beaches and even more waterfalls.

A flight above the beautiful mountains of West Maui is next on the itinerary. Lush valleys penetrating deep into the mountains will surround you. It is these deep valleys of west Maui that give Maui its nickname, the "Valley Isle." Accessible only by helicopter, the remote uninhabited interior is one of the most stunning landscapes on Earth.

This tour takes place 7 days a week and is available 6 times a day. You must check in at the Kahului Heliport, Hanger 110 in Kahului (North Maui). Check-in is required 30 minutes before the scheduled flight time.

The Aircraft: Air Maui flies the world's best touring helicopter: American Eurocopter ASTAR. It features all forward facing seating; Unobstructed 180-degree views from every seat; Smooth, comfortable ride; Air conditioning; Roomy, comfortable cabin; Leather seats; Digital stereo music; Noise reducing headsets; MultiVision video system that records all the great sites of your tour along with your pilot's narrations and background music.

The helicopter flight was one of the coolest experiences I will ever have! Maui is amazing at ground level, but the view from above is awe inspiring! This was one of the best experiences of my life and I would definitely like to do it again sometime.

Maui is the best place to take a Helicopter ride!

Deciding on whether to take a helicopter trip on the Big Island or Maui? Both would be great to see, but we decided on Maui over Big Isle for several reasons. The Big Isle is just that -- BIG! Thus, you spend a lot of time in the air traveling to get to the volcano, shoreline, etc. They will entice you on the Big Isle with brochure pictures of intense lava flows spewing high into the air… the lava is always impressive, but it is generally a slow ooze at best. You will more likely see some glowing red here and there. Weather seems to be more likely to cause your trip to be canceled on Big Isle, too.
