Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park - Basic Package
Ready to have some fun? Come on over to the Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park, which offers plenty of water attractions of all kinds and for all ages. Glide down a seven-story tall waterslide (there are actually two of them in the park), or if this is too much for you, opt for the four-and-a-half-story model. Check out the big wave pool, which is so big you can body surf in it! Or take a leisurely inner-tube ride down the circular river. Kids will love the many spots created just for them, with shallow splash areas, water cannons, waterfalls, and lily pads to jump across and so much more. There are also plenty of places to eat, rest and to stock up on souvenirs. The park is the perfect excursion for the entire family.
Safety is the park's number one priority. They employ highly trained water-safety professionals. There's also plenty of park security and medical personnel available at all times. So you can feel safe and just relax enjoying a great time in the water. The Hawaiian Waters Adventure Park is located in Kapolei, which is just 20 miles west of Waikiki.
This basic admission package is ideal if you prefer to drive to the park on your own. It does not include any transportation from Waikiki. This package includes parking, park admission, passport to all attractions, instruction and equipment (tubes, life jackets and rafts). So bring the whole family and get ready for lots of wet fun!
Attractions include:
Kapolei Kooler: kick back as you float leisurely on inflatable tubes down an 800-foot long continuous river. |
Cutter's Island: Enjoy an adult-only pool, hot tub and bar serving favorite tropical beverages.
Cliffhanger: Hold your breath as you slide straight down seven stories. (Definitely not for wimps!)
Volcano Express: A 5-½ story slide where 4 riders can race each other to the finish line.
Da Flowrider: The park's newest attraction. An action thrill ride that features 40 feet of consistent wave action so you can experience the thrill of catching and riding a wave. (Additional fee for this premium attraction)
Fun Zone: kids have a blast in this area featuring the Big Squirt, Water Wars, and many other fun games and activities.
Keiki Kove: An interactive children's playground full of waterfalls, mini slides, water cannons, animal floaties and much more.
Waterworld: A kid's dream! A huge 20,000-square-foot multi-level activity pool featuring seven family slides, two shotgun slides that free-fall six feet, lily pad walks, and other mini-attractions.
Flyin' Hawaiian: Shoot into mid air and land with a big splash!
Surfsliders: Twist and turn down 3 exciting body slides designed especially for kids. |

Shaka: The world's wildest half-pipe! Slide up one side and down the other in this high flung ride.
Hurricane Bay: A mega wave pool featuring 2- to 4-foot waves. Bodysurf or ride the waves on a tube.
Waianae Coaster: A 4-½ story ride down the cliffs of Kapolei. It features four different double-tube slides.
The Big Kahuna: Enjoy thrilling speeds on two huge waterslides - a twisting, turning, splashing adventure. |

When? - Park opens at 10:30 AM daily, including holidays.
Closes according to the following schedule: - June-August: Mon-Fri 4 PM, Sat & Sun 5 PM
- Sept-May: Mon, Thurs,+ Fri 3:30 PM, Sat & Sun 4 PM, closed all day on Tues & Wed (except for the last 2 weeks in March when the park is open till 4PM for Spring Break).
- Christmas, Thanksgiving, New Year's Day: closes at 4PM
- Labor Day, Independence Day: closes at 5 PM
Where? - 400 Farrington Hwy, Kapolei
Tips: - Bring along proper swimwear - no thongs, t-backs or plastic swimwear with metal rivets.
- Bring a change of clothes, towel, slippers, sunscreen and a camera to record all the memories.
- Day use lockers can be rented for $5.00 plus a $5.00 refundable deposit for regular-size or $9.00 plus a $5.00 refundable deposit for double-size.
- Tubes and floats are Free and included in the cost of admission!
- Lifejackets are available FREE at Davey Jones' Lockers.
- Hundreds of lounge chairs can be found throughout the park, complimentary use.
- Coolers, food, alcohol or beverages may not be brought into the park. However exceptions are made for infants and those with special medical needs. There is a public picnic area located just outside the front gate.

From Waikiki:
Take the H-1 Highway West to exit 2 (Kapolei/Makakilo), go left off exit, then make immediate right onto Farrington Highway which takes you through the business part of Kapolei. Bear right following signs to Barbers Point Industrial Park. The Park will be on your right after you cross the over-pass. |
