Kailua Group Surf Package
Kailua has good beginner conditions for surfing and long boarding all year round. Forget about the crowds on Waikiki beach and learn to surf in an un-crowded and safe place. Here you won't get hit by another novice's board. Set in Kailua Bay amongst magnificent mountain and coastal views, you are a world away from the hustle and bustle of Waikiki.
New epoxy boards by SOUTH POINT and BOARDWORKS are used. These boards are lighter and stiffer than conventional polyester fiberglass boards. Shapes range from beginner to advanced.
Friendly and patient instructors will guide your 3-hour adventure of learning to surf - the sport of ancient Hawaiian kings.
Once you have surfed up an appetite, enjoy a choice of picnic or plate lunches on the beach!
Free roundtrip transportation is available from designated Waikiki area hotels. If you are staying at a Waikiki hotel and wish to be picked up, please indicate your choice when booking this activity ("Free Roundtrip Transportation" will show up automatically in the reservations section). Directions From Waikiki: Leave Waikiki by taking Kapahulu Avenue up to H1 West. After 3 miles take Pali exit (Highway 61). Pali Highway will take you all the way over the mountain into Kailua Town. Keep going straight until you see a Fire Station to your right. Turn right on Kainalu Drive. Go to the end. Turn left onto Kailua Road. You will see Kailua Beach Center 1/4 mile down the road. You will find ample parking in our small shopping center. Kailua Sailboards and Kayaks is located in walking distance to Kailua Beach Park, 1 block down the road.
