Kailua Kayaking Eco-Adventure Guided Tour
Experience majestic Kailua Bay with a professionally certified kayaking guide. Trained in ecology, history, volcanology, first aid and CPR, the kayaking guides also meet the highest paddling standards by the ACA (American Canoe Association).
This tour is perfect for adventure minded beginners, intermediate, and experienced kayakers. Individuals or families with children 13 years old and above are welcome.
On this tour, you can kayak along with them to their favorite "secret" spots throughout the bay where you will discover deserted islands, marine life, sea birds, great snorkeling, kayak surfing, hidden tide pools and secluded coves.
Visit beautiful Lanikai Beach, rated one of the top ten beaches in the world by CNN and Discovery Travel Channel. Take photos, walk on the beach, or go snorkeling with provided equipment. Swim out into shallow waters to look for Hawaiian reef fish and live coral. |
After snorkeling, it's off to the Moku'lua Islands for an unforgettable experience. Paddlers will head out approximately one mile off shore to Moku Nui where they will land on the sandy beach of the protected bird sanctuary. Hungry appetites are satisfied with a fresh picnic lunch.
Your kayaking guide will carry a cooler with a freshly made deli lunch complete with fruit, drinks and cookies perfect for an island-style picnic on one of Hawaii's unspoiled small off-shore islands.
After lunch, your guide will take everyone on an exploration of the island. Many species of ocean creatures may be seen on this nature walk including green sea turtles, wedge-tailed shearwaters, rock crabs, and possibly even the endangered Hawaiian monk seal. Off shore, sometimes spinner dolphins and whales (in winter) can be spotted. |
