Lahaina Whale Watch Eco-Adventure
Pacific Humpback whales are truly amazing creatures. Every year in December, they swim the thousands of miles from Alaska to Hawaii to mate and raise their young in Hawaii's warm waters. Now you'll be able to see them up close on this great whale watching cruise. Watch how they glide gently through the water, blow water in the air and lift their colossal bodies out of the water to breathe. Just keep in mind that this is a seasonal cruise. It takes place from January 2 to March 31 only.
Relax in the comfort of the Spirit of Lahaina, a 65-foot, 149-passenger catamaran, while watching humpback whales frolic in the clear blue ocean all around you. On this two-hour cruise, you may also spot other ocean wildlife, such as the endangered green sea turtle, colorful tropical fish and spinner dolphins. You'll also enjoy some fantastic views of Maui's spectacular coastline. Remember to bring your camera! |
Whale sightings are guaranteed on this fun eco-adventure cruise, or your next whale watch cruise aboard the Spirit of Lahaina is free! So hop aboard and enjoy the sights and sounds as you listen to certified naturalists, who will share fascinating insights on whales. You'll also watch a video presentation about whales and have the chance to listen to the whales "singing" underwater and communicating with each other through the live hydrophones.
If you get hungry, there is a full beverage and snack bar for your comfort and continued whale watching fun! Snacks, coffee and tea are served for free. Come aboard and make some great memories aboard the Spirit of Lahaina. |

In contact with the whales

We did not to have to go long before we saw our first whale. For at long period we could then follow them while some males fought for a moment of privacy with the female. Impressive to see whales with the weight of 30 ton fight. What a force! The engagement and the high level of knowledge about whales from the crew made this tour unforgettable. |
