Mountain Rainforest
Oahu Nature Tours offers fun, educational and guided eco-tours that show you the best of Oahu's native animal and plant life. No matter which tour you choose, you'll enjoy spectacular views and have plenty of great photo opportunities. Furthermore, you'll lean more about Hawaii's geology, archeology, mythology and history from your friendly guide. Tour groups are small with no more than 14 people.
Hike into a scenic rainforest above historic Pearl Harbor, into a near-forgotten world filled with colorful Hawaiian plants and rare bird species. On this excursion, you'll walk into a native forest of scarlet flowered Ohia lehuas, white Hibiscuses, fragrant Kopikos and majestic Koa trees.
This is the best trail on the island to see the rare and colorful Hawaiian honeycreepers, a bird species that include the crimson Apapane and the yellow-green Amakihi. You'll also be treated to panoramic ocean and mountain views.
