Pali Makani Helicopter Tour
This 30 minute tour features Historic Honolulu and continues on along the southern shore of the island, past Waikiki Beach, where you'll see Diamond Head Crater from a dramatic perspective, the "Gold Coast" where millionaires make their homes, and spectacular Hanauma Bay.
Rounding the east end of the island, you'll see rugged coastline, inviting Sandy Beach and Makapuu Point and lighthouse. Your aerial tour continues over Sea Life Park, the estate where TVs Magnum P.I. was filmed and miles of white-sand beach.
You'll be treated to a stunning view of Mount Olomana and, later, the Nu'uanu Pali where King Kamehameha's warriors won a decisive battle to unite the islands.

Notes: - The 10:30AM flight is highly recommended for this tour, as the lighting is perfect on the eastern side of the island at this time of the morning.
- Passengers weighing more than 250 pounds will be charged for an additional seat. No bags, purses, fanny packs or cell phones are allowed on the helicopter. You may only bring camera and film. Guests should wear comfortable clothing.
- REQUIREMENTS: YOU MUST BRING YOUR PICTURE I.D. FOR SECURITY PURPOSES.
- The routes described assume normal trade winds and weather. Pilots reserve the right to alter the flight path of any tour as appropriate for different winds and inclement weather.
- Closed on Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve (night only), Christmas Day, New Year's Eve (night only) and New Year's Day.

My family and I had a wonderful time on this helicopter tour!!! The staff at Makani Kai Helicopters were great. Very friendly and professional! We were taken care of from the moment we were picked up at our hotel until the moment we were dropped back off. Thank you to Big Kahuna Hawaii as well for the great deal that you offer. It was worth every penny. The view from the helicopter is spectacular and it was an experience of a lifetime. Thank you again!!!! |
