Windward Rainforest & Waterfall Hike
This great half-day adventure takes you deep into the jungle. You'll find yourself surrounded by giant ferns, colorful, fragrant rainforest plants and magnificent waterfalls cascading down the majestic mountain cliffs into crystal clear pools.
The adventure starts out in the heart of a green valley, which in ancient times was reserved for Hawaiian royalty. During the hike, you'll learn about the history, legends, cultural sites and Polynesian plant species.
At the Pali Lookout, you'll have the chance to see one of the most amazing views in all of Hawaii - the panoramic vista of windward Oahu, Kaneohe Bay and the endless ocean. Take some great photos and learn about the battle of the Nuuanu Pali that secured King Kamehameha's sovereignty over the Hawaiian Islands. |
Afterwards, you'll travel to the base of the Pali cliffs and hike through a mountain rainforest to a towering waterfall that is truly inspiring. Listen to the songs of mountain birds and enjoy this unique place.
This is a professionally guided nature hike through the cloud-misted Hawaiian rainforest deep in the Ko'olau Mountain Range. The impressions of this island paradise will stay in your memory forever.
