We had a wonderful time!

Aloha! We are from Seattle and we visit Oahu every May. As sunset lovers, this time we decided to go to sunset dinner cruise since we have never seen the sunset from a boat. We did the Navatek Royal Sunset Dinner Cruise. We liked it because the ship was big and spacious, and it had wonderful views to Waikiki from our window table. The crew was very friendly and the food delicious. Besides that the sunset was a truly romantic vista accompanied with a tropical drink and live Hawaiian music and dances. We would definitely go on the Navatek again on our next vacation. |

Best time I've ever had!

My wife and I are from Cedar Falls, Iowa, so we never get to see the ocean. On our vacation to Hawaii this past September, we decided to take a dinner cruise. We figured that it was the best way to see an “island paradise as it is meant to be seen. Deciding on the Navatek I Royal Sunset cruise, we arrived at the dock in the early evening with our appetites. We were immediately greeted by some of the friendliest people that we had encountered on our vacation so far! My wife and I were seated by a window overlooking the calm, blue ocean and we were soon cruising through the water. With the glamorous sights of the Honolulu skyline and the palm trees lining Waikiki’s beaches within eyesight, my wife and I agreed that this was truly paradise.
And it was far from over! Although our wait staff were certainly busy preparing meals for all of the passengers on board, we still felt as if we were the only ones on the cruise; the service is just that personable. Both my wife and I decided on the Maine lobster entrée, as we had developed a taste for it when visiting relatives in New England two summers ago. Well, I don’t know how this is possible, but the lobster we dined on that evening tasted MUCH BETTER than what we had in NEW ENGLAND! It was unbelievable.
As dinner progressed, we glided through the sparkling water and passed by Diamond Head (which looks SUPERB in the sunset, by the way) and beaches so perfect and serene that we made a note to check them out for ourselves the following day. All throughout our cruise, we were surrounded by authentic sights and sounds of “Old Hawaii, whose colors and music reminded us just why we came to the islands in the first place. If you’re looking for the best meal you’ve ever had and the best that the state’s scenery has to offer, I definitely recommend this cruise. We didn’t even want to leave the ship once it returned to the dock! |
