Three Star Dinner Cruise
If you're looking for a great coastline cruise, look no further than the Star. You'll be greeted by hula dancers and receive a glass of champagne as you step aboard the Star of Honolulu, a modern cruise ship. Then you'll head out on the open ocean for a relaxing cruise along the Honolulu and Waikiki coastlines. While watching the sun setting in glorious Hawaiian fashion, you can explore the Star's four decks, enjoy great 360 degree views and take some photos of a magnificent Hawaiian sunset. Later on, you'll be treated to a flavorful five-course dinner featuring succulent whole Maine lobster and savory tenderloin steak. You'll also be treated to two tropical cocktails of your choice (or another beverage), live jazz entertainment and the entertaining My Hawaii - Lei of Memories show.
As an appetizer you'll enjoy imported and domestic cheeses with an assortment of gourmet crackers and fresh tropical fruits, chicken shiitake mushroom pate and nalo farm mesclun greens, purple endive, kula baby romaine and tear drop tomatoes with passion fruit tarragon vinaigrette.
The main dish features steamed whole Maine lobster with fresh lemon, clarified butter and citrus ponzu and fire-roasted tenderloin steak with sweet Madeira wine sauce, homemade Yukon and purple Okinawan mashed potatoes and sauteed fresh baby vegetables. The dish also includes freshly baked furikake lavosh and sweet butter breadsticks with butter. |
For dessert, you'll be treated to a dessert trio of mango mousse cake and pistachio macaroon and fresh seasonal berries with raspberry and vanilla anglaise sauces. Your package also includes two cocktails of your choice. Special menus of chicken, fish or vegetarian items are available with 24 hours notice. To request a special menu, please indicate your preference at time of booking.
The Star of Honolulu is an award-winning, state-of-the-art vessel. It is 232 feet long and has a passenger capacity of 1,500. It's owned and operated by Paradise Cruise Limited, an industry mainstay that's been serving Hawaii's cruise and sightseeing industry since 1957. The Star features a 60-foot-high observation deck for spectacular 360 degree views, high-tech stabilizers for a smooth ride, interior elevators, ramps for boarding and exiting and specially constructed restrooms for full accessibility. It's the only dinner cruise ship in Hawaii that's A.D.A. (Americans with Disability Act) compliant.

Depart Waikiki on Ala Moana Blvd heading west. Continue on Ala Moana Blvd toward downtown Honolulu. As you approach the downtown area (about 5 minutes from Waikiki) stay in the left hand lane. Look for the Aloha Tower and Pier sign on your left. Turn into the Aloha Tower Marketplace. Paid parking is available at the Aloha Tower Marketplace.
TIP: Paradise Cruise lines does not offer validation for parking, however any shop at the Aloha Tower Marketplace can validate your parking stub if you purchase anything over $2.00 (eg coffee). With validation, parking is only $2.00. Otherwise, parking is $2.00 for the first hour and $3.00 for each half hour after that. Thus without validation from one of the shops at Aloha Tower Marketplace, the cost for parking during the 2-3 hour cruise will be between $8.00 and $14.00. |

Romantic Dinner at Sea

A wonderful dinner, elegant table service and smooth ride made this a lovely romantic evening. Music was good-I'd have enjoyed more Hawaiian music but the jazz was good. Will definitely return when we come back to the islands. |
