Windsurf 3 or 5 Day Course
This course is the fast track into the sport of windsurfing for people with busy schedules. Choose between the 3 day or the 5 day course. They include progressive instruction daily, though the days need not be consecutive. No matter if you're a beginner or a little more advanced sailor, you'll learn a progressive range of skills. No experience is required; however, this course also suits beginners with a few lessons under their belt, or the sailor who may be a little rusty after being away from the water for a while.
Several techniques that will be covered include wind basics, balance basics, self-launching, rope start, rope turns, mast turns, tacking, fast-tack, basic jibe, beach starts, upwind sailing and reaching. You'll be provided with a board and a range of sail sizes to accelerate your learning process. |

Group Lesson: 3-4 students per class, 2.5 hrs per day
Private Lesson: one on one instruction, 1.5 hrs per day (available at the same price as group lessons). - All basic equipment is provided

Drive to the Kahului Airport and go past the terminal. When the road curves left, stay in the right lane, then turn right at the "Rental Car Return" sign. Drive all the way through until you reach the "Stop" sign. Turn RIGHT at the Stop sign and drive along Alaho Street. Go all the way until you reach the "Dead End" sign. Turn into the last parking lot, with the green metal sign that says "Kanaha Beach Park." Drive all the way to the back of the lot and look for the Action Sports van. Meet at the van! |
