The best snorkeling on Maui is done off the coastlines. Join the crew of Aloha Blue Charters for an exciting snorkel cruise that will take you to two great locations off Maui's south coast, where the water is crystal clear and the marine life abundant.

Deluxe Morning Snorkel Cruise

Come aboard the Hokua, a 40-foot power catamaran, which will speed you to fascinating snorkel spots off Maui's south coast in no time. This five hour cruise is a full morning of adventure!

As you depart Maalaea Harbor, you'll be served a delicious homemade continental breakfast, including fresh coffee, fresh cut seasonal fruit, assorted homemade muffins with cream cheese and jelly.

The first snorkel location will be Molokini, a stunningly beautiful atoll, which features a reef area with excellent underwater viewing of up to 150 feet (45 m). It's a protected marine life park and a safe haven for all kinds of marine life, including more then 250 species of fish, some of which are found nowhere else in the world.

If you don't have your own snorkel equipment, no problem. All you need for fun in the water will be provided by the crew. For an additional cost, you can also choose some other options, such as optical masks, underwater cameras and wet suits.

As you enjoy the cruise to your snorkeling destinations, you will also have the opportunity to do some deep sea fishing. If the angler in you wants to try for the "big one” (just ask the captain about the record Ono fish they caught on the way to Molokini), rent a fishing rod for only $10 and use it the whole day (for use when the boat is under way only, you wouldn't want to catch a snorkeler!). That's a fantastic bargain, and a great way to put maximum fun into your cruise adventure.

After you finish snorkeling at Molokini, you can rinse off with the onboard freshwater shower and settle in for a fast and exciting ride as the crew jets you off to the second snorkel site - Coral Gardens or Turtle Town. Later on, you'll be treated to a premium lunch and beverages before heading back to the harbor. Your premium deli-style lunch includes sliced ham, turkey, and roast beef with cheese slices and all the fixings, Bocca Burgers, homemade pasta salad, homemade chocolate chip cookies, beer, wine, iced tea, lemonade, juice, and water.

The boat:
The Hokua is a 40-foot power catamaran specifically built for Hawaii's waters. The vessel features fast and quiet, eco-friendly jet drives. She is Coast Guard approved to carry up to 35 passengers in comfort. Her captain and crew have over 35 years of combined experience in the waters off Maui.
