Pleasant experience

The leader of our adventure showed thoughtfulness for all of us, making sure that the slowest of us were not pushed unduly beyond their limits.
I particularly appreciated the sharing of history and flora details as we walked upwards. The adventure was my top experience for a week in Honolulu. |

The guide was extremely knowledgeable and well-read---good conversationalist. The pace was perfect---not too fast, not too slow. Probably the easiest hike ever! Gorgeous views. Trail was not so interesting as the view from the top...the views are worth it, though. On time pick-up and drop-off. |

Diamond Head climb

I walked into the park (Diamond Head Crater) but I encourage everyone to drive in (its worth the couple extra bucks). I reached the entrance tired but excited to go on a hike of Diamond Head.
The hike is steep and is clearly marked with informative signs posted alongside the paved trail. A bottle of water is a must for this hike!
Winding trails, tunnels and countless stairs challenge the hiker to explore the landscape. Along the way, there are many picturesque landscapes to take pictures of, providing the hiker with many photo oportunities and memories to take back with them.
At the top, the views are majestic and you can actually see a light house in the distance. The crater, itself is a sight to be reckoned with. The views of Wakiki look rather relaxful from the top.
The hike down goes by fast and the hike can be finished in just over an hour.
Drink plenty of water and wear sunscreen! |
