Dolphin Dream Discovery

This is a once-in-a-lifetime chance to participate in a very special program with dolphins. You will be able to get into the salt water dolphin pool and stand in a waist-deep area while the dolphins swim and do their high-energy tricks. Touch and kiss the the dolphins and enjoy very personal interaction!

The Dolphin Encounter is the basic interactive program designed for comfortable and personal interaction with dolphins! You will be standing in about 3 feet of water, no swimming necessary. Enjoy some one-on-one time with these magnificent creatures, as you pet, feed and watch them perform the tricks you instruct them to do. You may even want to kiss your friendly dolphin! This family friendly program is very safe and perfect for dolphin enthusiasts as young as 1 year old.

If you are feeling a little more adventurous, the Dolphin Swim Adventure program offers the opportunity to move off the platform into slightly deeper water to participate in some fun activities with the dolphins. You will enjoy the same fun experiences as the basic package - petting, feeding, doing tricks, and kissing the dolphin - plus you will have the opportunity to take a Belly Ride with a dolphin! Hold on to the dolphin's pectoral fins (on the side of its body) and lay on its belly while the dolphin takes you for a fun ride along the surface of the water. This program is perfect for adults and kids age 8 years and up.

The premium Dolphin Royal Swim program goes even further. Besides the basic program perks of petting, feeding, doing tricks, and kissing the dolphin, you will get 2 different rides with 2 dolphins! The first ride is the "Dorsal Ride" - take a hold of each dolphin's dorsal fin (top fin) and they will take you for a joy ride along the surface of the water. Next, experience the pure thrill and exhilaration of a " foot push" - the 2 dolphins will get under each of your feet and push you along just by your feet as you stand on their backs! Don't worry, the dolphins have perfect balance, so you can glide through the water and enjoy the heart-pumping experience. This program is perfect for adults and kids at least 4 feet tall and age 8 years and up.

These adventures takes place 7 days a week at the Sea Life Park in Waimanalo at scheduled times. The duration of each program is 45 minutes, including orientation, with at least 30 minutes in the water with the dolphins. General Park admission is included in the price, so if you want, come early or stay late to check out the entire park with all its exhibits! Sea Life Park opens at 9:30AM for your enjoyment! You may also want to check out the awesome Sea Life Park Luau (available for purchase separately) - the only luau in the world that boasts an evening dolphin show!

Once in a Lifetime Experience

September 3, 2008 		My granddaughter and I shared this once in a lifetime experience. It was great!! She is 16 and I am over 70 years old and we both had a wonderful time with the dolphins. We'd do it again in a nano second. Thanks, Big Kahuna, for booking this for us, as well as all the other shows we saw and loved. Big Kahuna is to be commended for their professionalism, friendliness, diligence and patience with me.
