Sunrise over Haleakala is a spectacular scenery that can not be described in words, although Mark Twain tried to do so in 1886 when he wrote "It was the sublimest spectacle I ever witnessed, and I think the memory of it will remain with me always."
Get up early in the morning and let our guides show you this majestic views you will never forget for sure! You will have plenty of sunrise photo opportunities once you reach the Puu Ulaula Overlook. Your guide will also take you to the House of the Sun Visitor Center at Haleakala National Park. On the way back you will have the opportunity to view diverse landscape of Haleakala National Park from different spots. You may even see the Silversword Plant that grows only at Haleakala and no where in the world.
Dress warmly for Haleakala's summit because it is really chilly up there (Temp. 20-40 degrees F). We do not guarantee weather will permit viewing sunrise. |
