Kohala Coast Helicopter Ride Big Island
| Tour the Beautiful Kohala Coast in Blue Hawaiian's ECOSTAR Helicopter. Many consider this area to have the most spectacular scenery on the Big Island. The towering sea cliffs open into the dramatically deep and meandering valleys of the Kohala Mountains. Majestic waterfalls cascade thousands of feet into the rainforest below where remnants of ancient Hawaiian settlements are still visable. |

A thrill a minute!

You are assigned to a seat based on your weight (they have to balance the aircraft) and I had the front center seat which was a little cramped, but I was kind of happy about being nestled in the middle after I saw how close you can get to mountains! We flew between the ridges! Our pictures were spectacular and crystal clear. By the way, even though I was nestled in the center seat, it was a great view and a thrilling ride! No doubt that an outside seat would have been preferable, but my boyfriend was in a great seat to take photos. He snapped one-after the other until he ran out of memory on his digital camera. It’s just that beautiful. |
