A thrilling and very unique show that combines magic, illusion, humor and Hawaiian culture. Mystifying illusions and stunning special effects take the art of magic to its outer limits. This show will leave you spellbound!

Magic of Polynesia Show

This mesmerizing show is a must-see if you like magic. Watch master illusionist John Hirokawa in action. He has recently received the coveted Merlin Award from the International Magicial's Society. Hirokawa created the Magic of Polynesia himself, which is a truly unique show in Hawaii. It has been honored by Magic World as the most original show around.

You probably won't be able to keep your mouth closed as you watch people and things appear and disappear in front of your unbelieving eyes. Watch Hirokawa perform impossible feats and escape unharmed from dangerous traps. And look forward to the helicopter illusion, which will really make you wonder how on earth he did that. This very original show is not just about magic. It also revolves around a Polynesian theme and you'll get to see hula dancing, singing and chanting.

Hirokawa is performing five nights a week and his fellow master illusionist Michael Villoria is performing on two nights a week. Not only are both of them master magicians, but they also have a great sense of humor. It's a great show for the entire family!

You can choose between 3 different show packages. The Magic of Polynesia Show package is ideal if you just want to see the show. It does not include dinner.

The Magic of Polynesia Dinner Show package includes a delicious dinner featuring baked glazed honey citrus salmon, baked soy ginger marinated chicken, home-style buttered mashed potatoes, seasoned fresh vegetables, mango coconut mousse cake, and your choice of coffee, tea, iced tea or water. For kids under 10 years old, a special menu of pasta with marinara sauce, garlic bread and a featured dessert is offered.

The Magic of Polynesia Deluxe Dinner Show package includes a fabulous deluxe dinner featuring assorted nalo greens with bay shrimp drizzled with champagne vinaigrette, broiled steak with cabernet sauce, baked lobster topped with lobster cream sauce, wasabi mashed potatoes, steamed seasonal vegetables, passion berry duo mousse cake with strawberry and chocolate sauce, and your choice of coffee, tea, iced tea or water. You will also enjoy preferred seating.

The illusionist was outstanding. The teenagers and young adults also enjoyed the show as much as we did. The only drawback was the singer who opened the show. Her performance left a lot to be desired. The young adults felt the show was geared too much to the Asian people, in particular the Japanese members of the audience. However, the show itself was wonderful.

We thought this was a lot of fun. I have spent a total of five weeks on Oahu in total, and of all the tours or paid excursions we have done, this was one of our favorites. It wasn't only a great magic show, but the dinner and the Polynesian flair provided through the dancers and singers was great. If I had it to do over, I would have skipped the luau we went to the night earlier, and would've just done this show, as you get all that's provided at the luau at this show as well, as far as entertainment goes. It was every entertaining and the evening flew by.
