Oahu Experience

This 60-minute adventure gives you an overview of the entire island of Oahu! After taking off from the Turtle Bay Helipad, you'll soar high above the magical Sacred Falls, which cascades for more than 80 feet into a crystal clear pool. This tallest of Oahu's waterfalls is only visible from the air.

Then it's down south toward Kahana Bay, Kaneohe Bay, the Makapuu Lighthouse, Koko Head, Hanauma Bay, Diamond Head, Waikiki, Honolulu and Pearl Harbor.

On your way back to the North Shore, you'll see all the world-famous big wave surfing beaches, such as Waimea Bay and the Banzai Pipeline.

Paradise Helicopters operates two types of helicopters. You'll fly in either the all window seats Hughes 500, which has room for 4 passengers, or in the executive Bell 407, which seats 6 passengers.

  • In an effort to make all passengers comfortable, anyone in excess of 265 pounds (120 kg) will be charged for two seats. The second seat charge will be half the normal fare for that seat.

Driving Directions


Thrifty Rent-A-Car System, Inc. 		Your flight leaves from the exclusive helipad located at the Turtle Bay Resort on the North Shore of Oahu. Relax in their lounge and chat with the pilot before your flight!

The Turtle Bay Resort is located at the northern most point of Oahu. The fastest way to the North Shore is via the H2 Highway. However, you may wish to take the senic route and go north along Oahu's east coast via Kamehameha Highway. The resort's address is 57-091 Kamehameha Highway in Kahuku. Coming from the east or west, look for signs for the resort as you continue north on Kamehameha Highway. Look for Kuilima Drive on the north side of Kamehameha Highway to enter the resort. After entering the resort, take the third right and procede to the end of the parking lot. You may wish to ask the guard at the front gate for additional parking instructions.

(Approximate drive time from Waikiki is one hour via the H2 highway and 90 minutes via the eastern shoreline. Please leave plenty of time to allow for traffic conditions.)
