This deeply moving half-day historical tour will take you into the heart of America's history and will immerse you in the events from December 7,1941 as you step in the Arizona Memorial Visitor Center where you will watch an excellent film of the Pearl Harbor attack, browse through fascinating displays, and then board the Navy launch for a trip to the Memorial itself.
Your tour through the history will continue with a visit to the Wardroom Orientation Center where you can browse through photos, artifacts and watch brief film that will prepare you for your shipboard visit. Then you will take a guided tour aboard the "Mighty Mo" - the last battleship built by the US Navy. |
You will see other beautiful and historic Civic Center attractions such as Kawaiahao Church - the church of Hawaiian monarchs, the State Library and Archives, the statue of King Kamehameha, Iolani Palace plus City Hall and the quaint Mission Houses. Our tour will also take you to Punchbowl National Cemetery where you will experience the serenity of the Cemetery with its meticulously landscaped acres, which includes the Courts of the Missing, the chapel, and finely-detailed mosaic maps of the Pacific theaters of action in World War II and Korea (drive through only). |

We had been their several times but our grandchildren were very impressed with the tour. They shared a lot of history, sight seeing, etc. They were very happy that they took this historic tour. |
