Paradise Cove Luau
Famous Paradise Cove Luau, incredible discounted price! Compare to $75.00 offered elsewhere. You won't find a lower price!
These wholesale tickets are only available while supplies last and are first-come first-serve.
Located on 12 oceanfront acres at the beautiful Ko Olina Resort on Oahu, Paradise Cove's lush lawns and coconut palms overlook a secluded beach with brilliant sunset views. Enjoy an authentic Hawaiian feast and sample exotic dishes such as Kalua Pig, Island Fish w/ Macadamia Nut Creme Sauce, and Banana Coconut Cake. After dinner watch the rousing finale of the "Extravaganza" where award-winning dancers entertain and amaze you in an unforgettable display of songs and dances from Hawaii and other Polynesian cultures.
The Paradise Cove Luau is designed to enchant guests with an authentic Hawaiian experience. The luau also promotes participation in ancient Hawaiian arts and crafts and games of skill. Learn to weave your own headband or wristband from fronds and flowers, take a hula lesson, get a temporary Polynesian tattoo, or even take a paddle in a canoe. For the adventurous, test your skills at 'o'o ihe (spear throwing), 'ulu maika (rolling stone disks) and moa pahe'e (dart sliding). Witness the imu (fire pit) ceremony, watch a skilled tree climber scale a tall palm tree and scatter tropical flowers in the "Shower of Flowers", and participate in the "Hukilau" (bringing in the fishing nets) ceremony.
There are three luau packages. The Paradise Cove Hawaiian Luau Buffet is the basic package, which treats you to all the cultural activities, ceremonies and entertainment that Paradise Cove is known for. You'll also get a shell lei greeting and Mai Tai upon arrival, plus 2 standard drink coupons. The buffet menu features tossed green salad with dressing, potato and macaroni salad, pasta salad, poi, taro rolls with butter, lomi lomi salmon, fried chicken, island fish with macadamia nut creme sauce, kalua pig (the one from the imu ceremony), steamed white rice, fresh pineapple chunks, haupia (coconut pudding), coconut banana cake, coffee or tea.
The Paradise Cove Orchid Luau Buffet package treats you to a little more luxury than the basic package. In addition to the great food that the basic menu includes, the Orchid Luau Buffet includes preferred seating, a fresh flower lei and Mai Tai greeting plus four standard drink coupons. |
The Paradise Cove Deluxe Luau is the premier experience. You'll get everything the two other packages include plus some great extras, such as a traditional lei greeting with a fresh flower lei or kukui nut lei, a souvenir arrival photo (one per person), Deluxe Front Stage or Royal Box Seating both with table service (versus a buffet dinner), six standard drink tickets and a souvenir gift from Paradise Cove. With this Deluxe package, you have a choice between sitting in either the "Front Stage Seating" (in the first 3 rows), or in the "Royal Box Seating", which is elevated, covered, and set center stage behind the general seating. Front Stage Seating is great for those who really want to be close to the action and get the best pictures of the performance. The Royal Box Seating is great for couples looking for a more romantic setting.
The Paradise Cove Luau strives to preserve the culture and island lifestyle that makes Hawaii so unique. In the tradition of the ancient Hawaiians, the knowledge of this rich history will be passed along to you. The luau follows the ancient tradition of not only a sumptuous feast, but also the arts and crafts, games of skill, songs, dances and aloha of Hawaii. Learn about the significance of the "aina" (land of Hawaii) and come to truly understand and appreciate Hawaii's diversity and beauty. |

Really fun and lots of activites
Reviewer: Scott Rippey (Temecula, CA, USA) November 19, 2008

This luau was great! Really really beautiful area, lots of fun activities to do in addition to the luau, and all the employees seemed to be having a good time too! I got dragged into some audience-participation thing, wearing a grass skirt and pulling-in the fish nets. I had a blast and I'd totally recommend it. |

Paradise Cove - Great way to end our trip
Reviewer: Colorado gal (Denver, Colorado, USA) November 19, 2008
|
This was my first trip to Hawaii, and I did a lot of research before coming and read that Paradise Cove was the most authentic luau's in Oahu. I was not disappointed. The pre-activities and explanation of the ceremonies was great. It was our last day on the island and a great way to close out the trip. Thank you, it was awesome. I would recommend this luau to everyone!
The only part that was a little disappointing was our table location, we were on the outskirts of the tables, while in the front it was difficult to see over other customers heads. To guarantee a good view, opt for premium seating. |

my boyfriend and i went to this luau because he had been to several and thought this the best. it was a good time. we made hair and wrist decorations with plumeria, a guy demonstrated climbing a coconut tree and showered us with flowers, we paddled an outrigger canoe, they unveiled the pig in a little ceremony and then we ate. the food was ok..... overall worth the money. |

We had a wonderful time at this luau. The activities are fun if you get into the spirit, and the kids can play along. The food was good; desserts were yummy; and the entertainment was fantastic. Service throughout the evening was also very good. Highly recommend it. |

After reading reviews, I was very nervous!!! We attended with 8 adults and 2 two year olds. Everyone enjoyed themselves. They have a beautiful property with lots of different things to do prior to dinner or you can just hang out with your cocktail and listen to great Hawaiian live music. They managed the crowds very well so you did not feel like there were a million people there. I would highly recommend. My only negative was some of the beach area and the non grassy areas -nothing you want to be barefoot on. Enjoy !!! and Mahalo Paradise Cove and Big Kahuna. |

Wwe really enjoyed this luau. It was in a beautiful location and the activities were enjoyable and interesting. The shows were great too. It was one of the highlights of our trip. I would really recommend this for visitors to experience a slice of Hawaiian culture. The only reason I haven't given it five stars is because the food wasn't five stars. |

Vacation Highlight
Reviewer: Theos (Tumwater, WA, United States) July 31, 2008
|
The Paradise Cove Luau was the highlight of our recent family vacation on Oahu. Although I had been to Hawaii as a young person, I came back changed from my experience here during our brief two week stay. During our evening at Paradise Cove, I felt like I received something that was imparted through a very personal, warm hearted cultural sharing of ancient tradition. The food, the songs and dance, and all the activities that preceded were all just excellent, and done in a way that felt personal and genuine. I felt like I saw God's handiwork in an incredibly majestic people. The males were masculine, and the females were feminine! Great models for our crumbling society! Thank you |

Just what you want a luau to be!
Reviewer: Full of Happy Memories (Sugar Land, TX, USA) July 30, 2008

Yes, it's corny and canned, but you didn't get invited to a dear friend's authentic celebration on the beach: This is the luau you paid to attend with a few dozen strangers, and Paradise Cove does a fantastic job of making you glad you did! The hula dancers are beautiful and talented, the guys are talented, athletic and sure footed! There's a little taste of tradition: canoeing, opening a coconut..and it's wonderful fun to play in the flowers to make a bracelet lei. The food is fine, and there's plenty of it, but remember that you've paid really not for a meal, but for an entire evening of entertainment, and they really entertained us. I do recommend this luau. Paradise Cove Luau
Reviewer: Way Downtown (California, USA) July 27, 2008
|
Our group of 5 people had never been to a luau before, so we had a good time at Paradise Cove. They have a good program, starting with the bus ride over, the activities, dinner, the show, and the bus ride back all being part of the activity.
The food is decent for a buffet, drinks are strong from the bar, and the performers are good.
So, if you're looking to do a luau while on Oahu, I'd recommend Paradise Cove. |

Me and my husband had our first real vacation in over 20 years, and we spent it on Oahu with our son and his fiance'. We decided to take all of us to the luau at Paradise Cove. Must say that was the highlight of our vacation with the exception of seeing our kids. There was so much to do and participate in before in the show. And it gave us a little history, which we learned everything has a meaning. The dancers where just fantastic. Will recommend to everybody I know who plans to go to the Island. Can't wait to come back. Pat... |

Great Fun Great Show

Both my sister and I have been to luaus on previous visits to Hawaii. This one was by far the best. Some of the activities were a little hokie, but it was all in the name of fun and enjoyment. We had a great meal, met great people and had a great show in one of the most beautiful locations. What more could you ask for. |

Very Surprised!
Reviewer: Chris (Dallas, TX, USA) May 29, 2008

I went to this Luau on my Honeymoon and I really wasn't looking forward to it. When we arrived however, my mood quickly changed. The location was superb and the staff was very friendly. We were told check in started at 4:30pm, but didn't find out until we arrived that dinner wasn't served until 7pm. There was a ton of stuff to do before the dinner so it didn't really seem that long. The dinner was amazing.
I don't know if this Luau is perfect for everybody, but it was just what we were looking for - which was a nice Luau, with fun activities, and great food. The entertainment wasn't nearly as good as some of the others, but it was light and fun.
Overall, one of the highlights of the honeymoon was this Luau. Very glad I went! |

Perfect Pre-Wedding Activity for our Group

Two days before our dream wedding in Hawaii we took our 30 wedding guests to the Paradise Cove Luau. From the moment we got on the bus it became clear that we were in for a fun evening! Cousin Bronson was a blast, getting us into the spirit and making the trip as fun as the destination. Once at Paradise Cove we were overwhelmed by the beauty of the location, the warm hospitality and interaction of the staff and the amazing food. The show was spectacular and we were sorry to see the evening end. This luau is a great value and a must do trip for anyone visiting Oahu. The luau at Paradise Cove is now as prominent in our memories and photo albums as our wedding day! |

Paradise Cove is a Family Treat
Reviewer: Geo's family of 5 (Alexandria, VA, USA) May 7, 2008
|
Having been to the islands many times on business, I finally had the chance to bring my family, but only for 48 hours. So, we went to the Paradise Cove directly after landing at the airport to get the quick immersion into island culture. It was fantastic. The kids are still talking about it every day 3 weeks later. Go early and get head of the line treatment as the events open. Highly recommended! |

Paradise Cove Luau
Reviewer: Melissa (New York, New York, USA) May 1, 2008
|
I am very picky so I thoroughly checked all Luaus while visiting Oahu realizing all would be somewhat touristy. Paradise Cove appeared to be the best. And it was. It had beautiful scenery, in a beautiful water cove, authentic Hawaiian activities and an excellent show done with style. The reason for 4 stars and not 5 is that the food. Maybe less selections with better quality food would improve it. But aside from this, which I'm sure is the case with most large scale events such as this, I would highly recommend Paradise Cove as the best Luau in Oahu. |

Paradise Cove - decent food, good show, but Cruise Ship?
Reviewer: Chris & Nicole (Miami, FL, USA) April 30, 2008
|
If you've taken a cruise, you know what I mean. The whole vibe was sort of goofy and touristy. I think this is okay, since the only people who do this are...tourists!
The food was pretty good and the show was cool. Our bus guide was a bit too much to handle, especially sitting in Honolulu's rush hour traffic on the way there (only a few hours after a 9 hour flight).
Go to say you went and to have a decent meal (the Kalua pig was very good). Don't go to practice your spear throwing or to row a canoe around the man-made bay.
Kids would have fun and be impressed, especially when the dude starts chucking fire around the place! |

We loved the Luau at Paradise Cove! The setting was beautiful with a superb view of the sunset over the ocean. Everyone was very friendly, helpful and professional. The food and drink was excellent and included with the admission fee. Lots of activities included in the entrance fee as well. The performances were lively and the performers really looked like they were enjoying themselves. Our family ages ranged from 9 to 45 and everyone had a great time! |

pre-luau
Reviewer: local irish girl (Oahu, USA) April 13, 2008

The amount of time from entering the gates to actually being served food is much too long! The ticketing agents inform customers to be there by around 4:30, when the gates don't open until 5:00, then the food is not served until 7:00. If you are hungry and do not care to try canoe rides or to shop, then no need to go early. |

My friend and I really enjoyed the Luau...it kept us entertained the entire time, but it was also an incredibly relaxing evening. We never felt rushed or overwhelmed, and everyone was extremely friendly. My only concern was that we did not have very good seats for the big performance. But overall, the food was great, the entertainment was excellent and the setting magical. Thank you. |

We've been to a number of luaus and Paradise Cove surpassed them all. Hands down, it's the best luau in all the islands of Hawaii. Definitely the best food, activities, and entertainment. Not to mention the beautiful location. We highly recommend it and would like to go back again next time we visit Oahu. |

Luau piggy!
Reviewer: Don Ho Ho Ho (NJ, USA) March 12, 2008
|
The Paradise Cove Luau was very enjoyable - especially with the bus ride option as it allows one to drink without worrying about having to drive. We opted for the Deluxe Luau option - it was my wife's first luau so I wanted to do it in style - the prices from Big Kahuna are definitely better than elsewhere.
Once you get there, as part of the deluxe package, you get nice flower leis for the women and kakui nut leis for the men and get a souvenir photo as part of the package. The activities are interesting as is the entertainment provided by the hula dancers and singers. The most incredible part though is the sunset in the background. The unearthing of the imu pig was a little anticlimactic and short compared to luaus on some of the other islands.
As part of the deluxe package, you also get table service which is nice - no waiting in the buffet line. Food is definitely plentiful, though I've been to luaus with more variety. The imu roast pork was the best I've tasted from a luau - very tender, flavorful and juicy, not dry like at some places.
The deluxe package also means you sit right by the stage, a good view of the hula dancers as well as the Samoan fire dancer. You also get two gift souvenir mugs as part of the package. We both enjoyed it. |
