Parasail in Waikiki
Tandem Parasail the tropical shores of south Oahu and get an adrenalin packed thrill ride with magnificent views of Diamond Head!
Soar over the ocean with breathtaking views of Waikiki, Diamond Head, the Ko'olau Mountains and more. We fly tandem for safety in our state-of-the-art custom parasail boats with a tether of 600 feet (180 m).
When you embark on this unique parasailing experience, you will be harnessed into a tandem sail and given a quick briefing. While on the parasail boat, your winch operator will deploy the parasail and connect your harness. From the platform of the powerboat you are gently raised into the skies above Oahu.
First time riders will feel safe and secure in the sturdy harness, and the smooth gliding motion of the parasail as it climbs into the sky. All that is required is to relax and enjoy the view. At the conclusion of the ride you will be winched back on to the boat. This is the safest method of launching and landing unlike beach take offs. Usually the captain will "dip" participants legs into the water when they are coming back aboard, but you may request to "keep dry" without a dip. |
Flying is done about two miles offshore.
If you wish to fly alone, you must be a minimum of 180 lbs. Anyone weighing less than that amount will most likely be flying tandem (the captain makes the final decision). Also, you will have time to enjoy the cruise along the south shore while others take their ride.
Roundtrip transportation from Waikiki hotels included. |

Parasailing over Waikiki on Christmas Day

We were ecstatic to get a reservation the day before Christmas. The people at Parasail Hawaii were terrific. The boat crew was outstanding; really friendly and fun. We even saw two WHALES from the sky.
In a word it was awesome. I highly recommend this activity.
We are extremely grateful to Big Kahuna for landing us a spot on the boat on such short notice. Kudos to the Big Kahuna!
