Poipu Sunset Sail - 2 hour Sunset Cruise
Enjoy a relaxing two-hour sail aboard the luxury catamaran Spirit of Kauai. The 55-foot Gold Coast catamaran was built for passenger comfort. From the ultra-stable twin hull design to the soft, padded seating throughout, it also features a large cabin area, clean restrooms, bow trampoline and a full wrap-around bar that provides many vantage points for viewing the stunning tropical sunset during this late afternoon cruise.
The cruise departs from Kukuiula Harbor, located 10 minutes form Poipu hotels on the south shore. Sail past the remote bay of Kipu Kai with its ring of stunning volcanic mountains, pristine beaches and clear ocean waters.
During the cruise, enjoy "pupu" appetizers including "buffalo wings" (barbecued chicken wings with dip), vegetable crudités, spinach dip, pretzels, pineapple, fresh fruit tray, beer, red and white wines, "sneaky tikis" (tropical cocktail) and soft drinks. From Lihue (Lihue Airport), take the Kaumualii Hwy (Hwy 50) west toward Poipu. Turn left onto Maluhia Road heading south. At the end of Maluhia Road, turn right and then take an immediate left onto Poipu Road. Continue south on Poipu road. At the fork, take the right side onto Lawai Road. Follow Lawai Road along the coast line. Look for signs for the Kukuiula Small Boat Harbor Park.
