Great Cruise
Reviewer: The Canucks (Cold Lake, Canada) December 17, 2007

We had a lot of fun on the dinner cruise. The entertainment was very good - especially the main singer. The service and food was excellent, as were the complimentary drinks. It was fairly windy that day, so it wasn't so great for getting out to take photos. The view from Punchbowl Crater at night is nice, as the drive through traffic to get up there for just a short stint. But it would have been nice to have maybe taken in another excursion too. |

Wonderful Sunset Cruise
Reviewer: Stephanie (Upstate NY, USA) October 10, 2007

I read as many reviews as I could find before booking a dinner cruise. Hopeless romantic that I am, I wanted the perfect evening, the perfect sunset and a good time. My significant other tells me I am hard to please and sometimes my expectations are too high. All that being said, I must say we had a wonderful time. The cruise was very smooth (my boyfriend typically gets seasick, so that was a concern).
The dinner, despite some of the reviews I read, was pretty good. Again, you have to remember you are not dining in a 5 star restaurant. They do a very good job. The scenery and sunset were beautiful. The entertainment was fun. Again, if you're looking for an intimate table and a violin player, that doesn't happen on a dinner cruise -- book a private boat. The excursion was good. It was just what was advertised, a ride up the mountain to view the city. All in all, we had a great time and I would highly recommend this cruise. It was definitely worth the expense and I am glad we went for the upgrade to the window seat. |
