Snuba Kona Beach Dive

Snuba is a fun and exciting way to adventure underwater like a scuba diver, but it's as easy as walking! Simply don the snuba helmet and off you go on your undersea adventure.

This Snuba Kona Beach dive is located right off the beach at the King Kamehameha Kona Beach Hotel. The coral reef here has green sea turtles, octopus, and a great variety of tropical fish and marine life awaiting your underwater discovery.

A certified dive master will be with you the whole time. The line on the snuba gear is 20' feet long. The line is attached to equipment on a raft that is movable so you will have many areas to explore. The depth of the water is no more than about 18'. Snuba dives lasts from 30-40 minutes.

  • asthma or any other respiratory problem
  • any heart conditions or cardiac problem
  • ear problem

    • By booking this activity, you are affirming that you and everyone in your party do not have any of the listed health conditions. Participants who are found to have any of the listed health conditions will not be allowed to participate in the activity unless they have a doctor's note at the time of the activity specifically stating that they are "cleared for SNUBA diving". No refund will be issued for any participant who is prevented from participating in the snuba dive due to health related conditions.
    • Sometimes a doctor's note may be required before you can participate in a diving activity. Please list any medications that you or those in your party are currently taking, and we can determine if you will be eligible to join the dive.
    • Divers cannot fly in a plane or other aircraft within 18 hours of their dive.

    Thrifty Rent-A-Car System, Inc.     		From Kona International Airport: go south on the "Queen K" highway for 6 miles. Look for the Palani Road exit. Head south-west on Palani road toward the ocean. Enter the King Kamehameha Kona Beach Hotel on your right at 75-5660 Palani Road . Parking is available at the hotel's parking lot for a reasonable fee.

    June 18, 2008     		We had an amazing time!! Lynn and his assistant Garrett were so great!! They were patient with us new snuba drivers and they had a great sense of humor!! very attentive to me the scared diver and pointed out lots of great fish as we dived. Highly recommend!!
