Sunset Suzy Surf Lessons
Learn to surf like the ancient royalty of Hawaii on the famous North Shore of Oahu! Sunset Suzy instructs surfers of all ages in the joys of riding the warm ocean waves of Hawaii. She knows the best and safest places to surf, even in wintertime when the surf can grow to enormous heights. Puaena Point is the choice spot to surf in winter, and always offers a quiet and protected surfing spot to catch your first wave.
Lessons are held mid-morning, and take you on an un-hurried ride where you can learn at your own comfortable pace. Suzy will guide you in the art of surfing for 2 to 3 hours during your lesson. Lessons can also be scheduled for other times and days upon special request. |

Great surfing with Sunset Suzy

My daughter Kelly had a great time learning to surf again on the Oahu North Shore. Suzy contacted me the day before the lesson and made sure we understood where to meet and how to get there. Ty met us in Haleiwa the next morning and led us to the beach where the lesson took place. Suzy delivered all the equipment needed right to the beach and the fun began. Ty took Kelly out and started with waves that were right sized for learning and soon Kelly was catchin' a wave. Lots of locals were surfing the bigger waves so the beach was an active but not too crowded spot. My wife and I enjoyed the beautiful beach swimming and watching the surfers, whales and turtles during the lesson. Thanks to both Suzy and Ty for a great lesson which was a special highlight of Kelly's spring break in Hawaii! |
