Three Day STI Certification
Hawaii offers excellent conditions for scuba divers. The water is crystal clear and there's an abundance of fish and other marine wildlife, many of them found nowhere else on Earth. With this three-day course, you can get your STI scuba diving license in just three days.
STI is a Hawaii-based certification which follows the PADI and NAUI standards but is a bit more strict. STI certified divers are recognized as competent divers throughout the world. You will be licensed to dive anywhere in the world with a STI certification.
You may attend classes at a time that meets your needs, and do not have to be taken on consecutive days. All classes begin at 8AM and finish around 2PM. The first day consists of "classroom work" done on the boat itself, and followed by 2 dives. The next two days consist of 2 dives per day. You will earn your certification on the last day.
All roundtrip transportation from Waikiki and all diving equipment is included including mask, snorkel and fins. You'll receive professional instruction and all diving will take place in the ocean. The dive location is on east Oahu in the Hawaii Kai area next door to famous Hanauma Bay. The waters in Hawaii Kai teem with fish and turtles, so there will be a lot to see on your first dive! |
The south shore of Oahu is well protected and off shore winds make dive conditions "pool like". However, postponement due to weather may be possible.
The boat captain and diving instructors are all local "island" people - not only experts on the marine life found among Hawaii's reefs, wrecks and caves, but also very knowledgeable in Hawaiian history and the island way of life. They are very concerned about protecting the ecology and are happy to share their island heritage with you.
The boat features onboard bathrooms for your convenience. It's insured, licensed, Coast Guard inspected and designed to make scuba diving fun, comfortable and easy!
Instruction and diving takes place Mondays thru Saturdays. Pick-up at locations throughout Waikiki.

any heart conditions or cardiac problem
ear problem
seizures

- By booking this activity, you are affirming that you and everyone in your party do not have any of the listed health conditions. Participants who are found to have any of the listed health conditions will not be allowed to participate in the activity and no refunds will be issued.
- Sometimes a doctor's note may be required before you can participate in a diving activity. Please list any medications that you or those in your party are currently taking, and we can determine if you will be eligible to join the dive.
