This is truly the ultimate helicopter experience and only offered by Paradise Helicopters. This 3 hour adventure begins with an unforgettable flight over an active volcano.
Your pilot will then take you to the Kohala Coast, where you'll escape into your own private paradise. After seeing the creation of the island from above, what could be better than landing at a secluded location where you can unwind and experience paradise first hand. Enjoy the beauty of sheer valley walls, a running stream and the quietness of the island. There are plenty of hiking trails for you to wander as you enjoy Nature at her best.
Later on, you'll enjoy a delicious lunch in the shade of tropical trees.
Paradise Helicopters operates two types of helicopters. You'll fly in either the all window seats Hughes 500, which has room for 4 passengers, or in the executive Bell 407, which seats 6 passengers. |

- Paradise Helicopters is the only company to offer every passenger an aviation headset with microphone that allows you to talk with your friends and the pilot.
- This exclusive 3 hour tour includes:
- Secluded landing site
- beautiful picnic area with hiking trails
- Helicopter has room for up to 6 passengers
- Picnic is provided. (Paradise Helicopters will provide the food, but if you have special requests or particular dietary needs, you are more than welcome to bring your own food.)
- Bring good walking shoes
- In an effort to make all passengers comfortable, anyone in excess of 265 pounds (120 kg) will be charged for two seats. The second seat charge will be half the normal fare for that seat.

Your flight will leave from Kona International Airport. Their Kona office is conveniently located on the South Ramp, with abundant parking. Relax on the spacious lanai or join them in their friendly air-conditioned office. |

What can I say but WOW!

We couldn't have asked for a better trip and view of Kilaeua while the lava was flowing. It was definitely worth the money to see the red molten lava slowing traveling towards to ocean. Our pilot Miles was wonderful and very informative and he made everyone feel at ease. The trip through the valleys was breathtaking. I think we must have taken over 100 pictures of the lava flows and the valleys. I would recommend this trip to anybody was will be traveling to Hawaii and the Big Island. Thanks for a wonderful experience. |
